The Tommy Dann Cup is a rugby match between the Leys and Perse Old Boys in memory of Tommy Dann, who tragically died by suicide in February 2021. Tommy poured his heart and soul into rugby, inspiring a generation of young sportspeople in Cambridge. He was admired for the time that he gave to all of his students and for his incredible ability to see potential, maximise it and make that journey hugely enjoyable.

Owing to all of your generosity, we have raised an incredible £91,000 for The Jonny Wilkinson Charitable Foundation, Tackle Suicide CIC and the LooseHeadz Foundation over the past five years. In 2027, we are partnering again with LooseHeadz and Tackle Suicide CIC, two fantastic charities directly looking to help those vulnerable to depression and anxiety within rugby and the sporting community more broadly. 

Tommy is forever missed and always in our hearts. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 10th April 2027 to celebrate Tommy’s life, check in with family and friends and raise some money for two amazing charities.
